Fire ban violations can lead to eviction from park premises, fine up to $50K

It’s back to business for campsites around Saskatchewan, just in time for the May long weekend.

“There are no restrictions on camping this weekend due to either smoke or fires. All of our parks are opening as usual,” wrote Karen Webb, spokesperson for the Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport, in an email to CBC News.
