Future Saskatoon Blades defenseman, Mark Rubinchik, will be playing on the international stage this week representing Russia at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.
The 26th edition of the Hlinka opens Monday, with action taking place in both Breclav, Czech Republic and Bratislava, Slovakia.
Rubinchik was selected 7th overall by the Blades this summer in the CHL import draft, and is also on the NHL Central Scouting 2017 Futures list.
