This is Canada’s first gold medal at the Games.
TORONTO — Canada’s Maggie Mac Neil has won the gold medal in the 100-metre butterfly swim event final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Mac Neil, who is a part of the women’s 4 x 100-metre freestyle relay team who won silver Saturday, beat out China and Australia for the top spot.
