Hot and Humid Airmass Will Remain for Few Days
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Kindersley and the surrounding area. The heat is expected to last a few days as a hot and humid airmass settles over southern Saskatchewan. Temperatures should return to normal by Sunday.
Daytime highs are expected to 32 degrees celsius or higher with overnight lows only reaching 16 degrees celsius.
Remember, extreme heat affects everyone. Watch for effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, heat exhaustion, heat stroke or fainting.
Never leave a person or a pet inside a parked vehicle.
Remember to keep hydrated and avoid excessive exercise in the heat. Take frequent breaks in the shade.
