Special Meeting of Council
Due to a conflict of interest, or appearance of conflict of interest related to the municipal election, Council resolved to end its service agreement, effective immediately, with Close Hauta Bertoia Blanchette, Chartered Professional Accountants as the Town of Kindersley’s auditor. The firm identified the conflict of interest in a letter to Council dated September 15, 2016. Further, Council directed Administration to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Town’s auditing services.
Council directed the Acting Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to enter into an agreement with Custom Roofing Inc. to completion the roofing rehabilitation project at the Norman Ritchie Community Centre. Cost of the project will be $45,875 plus tax.
