For the second time, a representative for KAWS Animal Rescue happily accepted a cheque from Kindersley’s PetValu.
Pet Appreciation Month was a huge success for Barb and her staff this April, as they worked enthusiastically to collect donations. It is through their efforts and the generosity of customers that such a large amount is collected. KAWS couldn’t continue to operate without support such as this. We greatly appreciate everything Barb and her staff does for us and the animals in our care!!
KAWS Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Animals in our care are kept in foster homes, and are available for adoption. The adoption fees never cover the vet care that goes into every animal, and the deficit is made up for by fundraising and generous donations.
Our next fundraiser is a garage sale at the Elks Hall in Kindersley on Saturday, June 23rd.
Donations can be dropped off at 21 O’Connor Crescent in Kindersley until the evening of Friday, June 22nd.
