 Description

Magnum Cementing Services is recruiting for a Supervisor out of our Kindersley Station. Under the direction of the Station Manager, the Supervisor assists in managing the day-to-day field primary and remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop.

Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor personnel, equipment and materials to ensure they arrive at location on time.
Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specification; understand rigging up and rigging down procedures.
Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations.
Communicate effectively with clients and internally with other departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
Work with Station Managers to maintain operation and service standards, and assist in leadership of the Station.
Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets and reports, or other reporting, as required.
Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service.
Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.
Work with management to improve policy and procedures.
Participate in training and development activities.
Other general duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Class 1 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.
Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on and 6 days off rotational schedule.
Experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.
