Description
The Saskatchewan Pension Plan (SPP), located in Kindersley, is seeking a highly organized, energetic, self-motivated, Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The SPP is a voluntary pension plan with over $550M in assets under administration and over 33,000 members.
As the Certified Financial Planner you will:
promote development of retirement planning to SPP members;
provide individual counselling regarding retirement options to members, including potential income options;
assist members in their decision making process by utilizing various retirement planning tools;
instruct members on all aspects of retirement planning;
provide members and staff with technical expertise on retirement projects within the SPP; and
develop communication materials related to retirement planning.
You will have:
a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
knowledge of various Canadian retirement products including defined contribution pension plans
strong knowledge of personal finance and investments
excellent communication and presentation skills
The knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for this position would be acquired through a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation combined with several years of related professional experience.
