Description
Satellite Installation Technician for Bell Satellite TV, Shaw Direct, Xplornet Satellite Internet and Cell phone Boosters.

Terms of Employment: Full Time Daytime
Salary: Between $35,000-$80,000 per year
Piece Work per job. Based on experience. Average $15-$35 depending on speed/quality of work.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Areas of Coverage: Kindersley, Leader, Eston Kerrobert and/or Swift Current area
Education: Some high school
Credentials: Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Experience/Specific Skills:
No Satellite Installation experience required but would be preferred. Training is provided but the skills below are required for success.
Long distance highway driving. Between 500-1500km a week on gravel and highway roads. Familiarity with surrounding areas with be helpful.
Extremely HIGH level of Customer Service and patience required.
Determine layouts and installation procedures. Assemble and install products. Utilize hand and power tools. No fear of heights.
Document and prepare invoices and work orders, Computer knowledge, Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
Knowledge of TV connections, Home theater systems, cabling, GPS and cell phone use.
Weight Handling: Up to 50 lbs
Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced work environment that is Physically and Mentally demanding. High Attention to detail.
Must be physically fit, willing to learn and good with electronics.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, All seasons, At heights on ladders, crawl spaces, basements, attics.
