Kindersley Klippers Gain Ground

After their five days of away games, the Klippers earned 6 out of 8 possible points, twice defeating the La Ronge Ice Wolves and dividing the victory of a weekend with Flin Flon Bombers.

Following on the heels of those victories came the sweet taste of success with the Melville Millionaires last Saturday.

Things definitely seem to be looking up for the Klippers, even though the past couple of weeks were tough on the team with various members suffering injuries.  According to a recent Kindersley Klippers news release, “20 year old captain Cole Plotnikoff suffered a severed Achilles tendon at the SJHL Showcase in Saskatoon, and veterans Nik Malenica, Taylor Derynck, and Cody Hodgson all missed time with various ailments.”

The Klippers will look forward to continuing in their positive trend as they meet the Humbolt Broncos in an away game on October 18.
