This morning at 6:55 am, Kindersley and Kerrobert RCMP members were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident, six miles North and 1 mile East of Kindersley, on a grid road.
The grid road will be closed for most of the day while investigation continues with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist.
The initial investigation has determined a semi and a pickup truck collided at an intersection. The driver of the pickup truck, a 38 year old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was from Alberta. The driver of the semi was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Weather and road conditions were not a factor.
