Canada Revenue Agency Scam in Kindersley Area
The Kindersley RCMP Detachment has received several calls today reporting emails and texts that claim to be Canada Revenue Agency saying that your notice of assessment needs correcting. The message asks for your first name and last name and Social Insurance Number.
THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT REPLY.
People have received the message through either email or text.
If you have received this message and did not give any information, it does not need to be reported to the police.
