Youth Committee Applications
There’s still time to apply for the Youth Committee! Application deadline has been extended to February 5, 2016 due to final exams this week.
This exciting new initiative builds from the success of the previous Kindersley Youth Council and makes community leadership even more practical.
In addition to learning how to run a meeting and getting an overview of how the Town of Kindersley operates, the Youth Committee will devote even more focus on championing youth involvement in the community. Members will host events, launch initiatives, and conduct special projects aimed at being leaders and increasing positive youth engagement.
A maximum of 10 students will be chosen for the Youth Committee on an annual basis. There is no cost to join, and the program is funded by the Town of Kindersley.

Students from Grades 9 through 12 are encouraged to apply. Applications are available for download online here and can be returned to the Kindersley Administrative Office (106 5th Avenue East) or the West Central Events Centre (500 2nd Street East) by Friday January 29, 2016 before end of business hours.
