David Kraichy Only Rookie
Both the Kory Kohuch and Danette Tracey teams have experienced the camaraderie, hospitality and competition that only the Travelers National Club Championships can offer. The Kohuch team won the National title in 2014 while Tracey competed in 2012.

Kohuch, representing the Nutana Club in Saskatoon, along with team mates David Kraichy, Wes Lang and David Schmirler defeated Humboldt’s Aaron Gaudreau 9-5 in the Final. That ended Gaudreau’s 5 game win streak that included two extra tie break games for Gaudreau and team mates Jason Schlachter, Tom Johnson and Joel McDonald. Kohuch had not lost a game the entire weekend and was determined to return to “The Show”. Kraichy replaced 2014 Kochuch third Mark Adams.
Playing with home ice fans and support at the Weyburn Curling Club, Danette Tracey earned her second Club Champion title by defeating Martensville’s Heather Burnett in the Final. Tracey, along with Charla Moore and Lianne Cretin won together in 2012 while third Jade Ivan, won previously with Jana Tisdale in 2014. The Tracey team cruised through the event with 7 straight victories including the 8-3 Final win over Burnett. Burnett was accompanied by Melissa Surkan, Kathie Derksen and Joanne Wood. Heather’s team was the 2013 SK Travelers representative.
