Local Dealer Stands behind Kindersley

Serving the Kindersley area for over 7 years, Moody’s Equipment LP is proud to be a New Holland dealer that specializes in agricultural and construction machinery, and also provides support for all equipment necessary to keep the home and farm operating smoothly.

From starting out with a handful of employees in two truck bays, to the sprawling establishment of 19 employees, Moody’s goal has always been the same — to become a trusted asset for everyone in the Kindersley area.

“Farmers, landowners, and companies all have the freedom to choose the options available to them,” says Eric Friesen, local branch manager, “The aim of Moody’s is to be one of their best options.”

Moody’s certainly has an impressive equipment line-up; from the T9 Series in tractors, the Guardian rear-boom and self-propelled front sprayers, and all the way up to the massive CR Series Twin Rotor Combines, the yard contains a definite wow-factor. In addition to the New Holland machinery, Moody’s also carries a variety of short-lines including Bourgault, well known for their air-seeder technology.

A new short-line on the block is the Cub Cadet, a company that specializes in yard care, offering a wide range of tools suited for residential and commercial use. “This is a new venture for us,” said Friesen, “and we are excited to see where this could potentially lead.”

In addition to agricultural and lawn equipment, Moody’s also strives to become a service centre for truck and transport machinery.  “Our goal is to become a one-stop service for all of a farmer’s needs,” stated Friesen.

Moody’s isn’t just about providing services to paying customers, they are proud to give back to their community. Pairing with G3 Prairie West and with local supporters, Moody’s plants a field just behind the dealership every year, and donates the proceeds to a community cause or project. For example, in 2015, the growing project was able to donate $10,000 to the Cobra Parents Association, to buy helmets and jerseys for the merging schools.

After losing a crop last year due to heavy rains, the Growing Project is planning to make up for it this year with a flourishing crop of canola. Saunter Farms will be donating the seed, and many other supporters will also be joining their forces together to complete the project. A full list of supporters and donors will be listed on a large signboard in Moody’s yard as soon as the project gets underway.

From lending a hand at the town’s public functions to enabling farmers to put bread into the mouths of thousands, Moody’s Equipment LP is proud to stand behind the Kindersley area.
