Kindersley, Kerrobert and Eston RCMP Weekly calls for service
Calls for service for the week ending July 15th, 2018:

SUI – Still Under Investigation
Criminal Code –
- ASSAULT x 2 – Kindersley – one male arrested and charged; Kindersley – call to a bar for two groups of people about to fight. One of the groups left and no assault took place.
- BREAK & ENTER – RM of Oakdale – Farm yard entered and had fuel and other various items reported missing – SUI
- DISTURBING THE PEACE – Kindersley – call of a fight in a parking lot. Both parties had departed the scene upon police arrival.
- FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITION OF RELEASE – Kindersley – report of a subject consuming alcohol while on a condition not to. Investigation revealed that conditions were no longer in affect.
- FRAUD – Kindersley – Fraudulent call made asking for money – no charges laid at this time.
- HARASSING COMMUNICATIONS – Kindersley – female receiving phone calls from unknown male – SUI
- IDENTITY FRAUD – Subject has his identity used to create a credit card in Ontario – SUI
- REPORT OF IMPAIRED DRIVING x 4 – RM of Progress – call of impaired driver in the area. SUI; Kerrobert – call of person taking the keys to a vehicle being driven by an intoxicated female. Female was charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle; RM of Antelope Park – call of impaired driver on the highway. Vehicle was located by police and driver had not been drinking; Kerrobert – call of intoxicated people at a place of business – no charge laid at this time.
- MISCHIEF x 2 – Plenty – damage to a building – SUI; Kindersley – male loitering around a business for a long period of time – SUI.
- THEFT UNDER $5000 x 2 – RM of Heart’s Hill – theft of fuel – SUI; RM of Winslow – theft of fuel – SUI;
- OTHER CRIMINAL CODE: officers called to assist a neighboring detachment with a call involving a break & enter, theft and stolen vehicle. The subject was located in a field just into the Kerrobert Detachment area. A SERM officer assisted on this call, as well as police officers from Rosetown.
- THEFT OF BICYCLES x 3 – Kindersley – SUI
- THEFT OF TRUCK x 2 – RM of Grandview – truck located, no charged laid at this time; Kerrobert – truck located and one female taken into custody, SUI.
Provincial –
- DRIVING WITHOUT DUE CARE & ATTENTION x 2 – RM of Kindersley – report of driver veering into oncoming lane of traffic – no charges laid at this point; RM of Kindersley – report of vehicle passing on solid line and almost causing a collision. Patrols were made and vehicle described was not located.
- FAIL TO STOP OR REMAIN AT ACCIDENT x 3 – Kindersley – all 3 calls were of vehicles being hit while parked in 3 different parking lots in Kindersley
- LIQUOR ACT – Kindersley – call of an intoxicated male walking in traffic. Subject was located by police and taken home.
- DRIVE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE x 2 – Eston, Kindersley – 2 tickets issued
- INTERSECTION RELATED OFFENCE – Kindersley – 1 ticket issued
- SPEEDING x 16 – RM of Milton, RM of Kindersley, RM of Progress, Kindersley – 11 tickets issued, 5 warnings issued
- REPORTS OF OTHER MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS x 9 – RM of Kindersley, RM of Oakdale, Kindersley, Eston – 1 ticket issued, 8 – SUI.
- OTHER NON-MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS – RM of Kindersley – 1 warning issued, 1 SUI
Other –
- 911 ACT x 5 – Kindersley, Kerrobert, RM of Oakdale
- ANIMAL CALLS x 2 – Kerrobert – dog attacked by other dogs when walking down alley with owner; RM of Kindersley – deer hit on highway
- ASSISTANCE TO OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES x 3 – RM of Snipe Lake – assist CFB Trenton for emergency beacon going off in a crop duster. Beacon located and was a false alarm; Kindersley – electronic ankle monitor giving an alarm. Subject checked and alarm was false; Kindersley – service of documents for another police service.
- ASSISTANCE TO GENERAL PUBLIC x 10 – Kindersley, Kerrobert, RM of Milton
- FALSE ALARM x 9 – Eatonia, Eston, Kerrobert, Kindersley
- FAMILY RELATIONS ACT – RM of Chesterfield
- MENTAL HEALTH ACT – Kindersley
- MUNICIPAL BYLAWS – RM of Mariposa
- PERSON REPORTED MISSING – Report of 19 year old female missing. She was located at a local hotel.
- SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEHICLE x 5 – Kerrobert, Kindersley, RM of Mariposa – people/vehicles located on all calls and nothing criminal about the calls. One subject of complaint was given a ride to a near-by town.
- TRAFFIC COLLISION – Property Damage x 5 – RM of Chesterfield, RM of Progress; Kindersley, RM of Kindersley
- TRAFFIC COLLISION – Injury – Kindersley
- WELLBEING CHECK – Kindersley
