University of Regina men’s basketball head coach Steve Burrows announced Thursday that the Cougars have received a commitment from guard Johneil Johnson for the 2016-17 season.
Johnson hails from Lake Echo, N.S. but comes to the U of R following a season of prep school at the Combine Academy in Charlotte, N.C. Prior to his season at Combine, Johnson led Auburn Drive High School to three consecutive Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation provincial Division I championships.
