Lynndon Wayne Delisle and Heather Lynn Delisle were from Wynyard
Officials have released the names of a couple from Wynyard, Sask., who died in a plane crash on Monday.
On Friday, the B.C. Coroners Service identified them as Lynndon Wayne Delisle, 58, and his wife Heather Lynn Delisle, 54.
Lynndon Delisle was the pilot and his wife the passenger in a Rockwell 112B airplane that crashed April 11 near Nakusp, B.C.
They had been flying from Kelowna to Saskatchewan.
Following the crash, a signal from the plane’s beacon was picked up by a commercial aircraft. A search-and-rescue crew found the Delisles dead at the scene.
