The Parkinson’s Super Walk supports over 100,000 Canadians living with the challenges of Parkinson’s.

The 2017 Canadian Super Walk was held on Sept. 10th in Saskatoon. Where local resident Nancy Kelley raised over $10,000.00 for Parkinson’s research and care.  The unbelievable support she received found her as the top fundraiser in Saskatchewan and 12th in all of Canada.
“With your continued support I am hope full we will find a cure for future generations.” Nancy Kelley
The Parkinson’s Super Walk supports over 100,000 Canadians living with the challenges of Parkinson’s.  More than 25 Canadians are diagnosed daily, that’s more than one an hour.  By 2030, the numbers of Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease will more than double.  This significant growth means that funding for research is vital to ensure better treatments for those diagnosed, and ultimately a future without Parkinson’s.
Everyone knows someone with Parkinson’s, and it is our hope that you could encourage them to attend our Heartland Health Parkinson’s Support Group the second Wednesday of every month, 2 p.m. at the Kindersley hospital.
