Prairie Sky: Sunrise & Sunset

The calming pink and purple hues to the blazing red and oranges that invigorate your soul.

Mother nature paints the sky twice everyday. We in rural Saskatchewan get to really enjoy these spectacular paintings with a generally unobstructed view.  It’s quite a treat to start and end your day with if you ask me.

Sometimes it casts a soft subtle glow across the prairies.  Calming,  A perfect way to wind down the day.  Other times its bold and wild.  Something to invigorate you to start a day.

It’s two times of the day that are my favourite.  I photograph it all the time.  But honestly you can never capture the true essence of it on film.  So that’s means get out and watch the amazing shows.
