WINNIPEG, Sept. 15 – Rain continued to slow harvest efforts in Saskatchewan, but according to the latest crop report from the Saskatchewan government, good progress was still being made in some areas.
To Sept. 12, 38 percent of the crop had been combined and another 38 percent was swathed or ready to straight-cut, the report said. That was below the five-year average of 44 percent for this time of year.
