RCMP has issued a Canada-wide warrant for a prisoner who escaped while on day leave from a federal prison south of Edmonton.
An inmate at the Pe Sakastew Centre, a minimum security prison in Maskwacis, Alta., escaped during a temporary absence Saturday night.
Darell Moosomin, 54, was escorted to the Samson Pow-Wow, but the prisoner disappeared around 8:45 p.m. and has not been seen since.
