RECAP: Chiefs charge past Blades on Wednesday in Spokane

Spokane, WA – Evan Fiala’s return to Spokane was spoiled by his former team as the Chiefs rolled over the Blades 6-2 on Wednesday night. The loss drops the Blades record to 10-13-2-1 on the season. Next up for the Blades are the Everett Silvertips on Saturday night.

The Blades opened the scoring for the second straight night as Kirby Dach got a lucky bounce with his shot ricocheting off the post and then off a Chiefs defender and in. Libor Hájek picked up the helper. The Chiefs were quick to respond as Ethan McIndoe scored a pair of goals to put his club ahead 2-1 after 20 minutes of play.
