Regina’s Salvation Army says it’s falling short of its goal for the annual Christmas Kettle campaign, with only two days left to raise the funds. The group had hoped to raise $225,000 in the city, but has so far raised $161,621.
The primary reason — organizers say — is a lack of volunteers to be at the kettle locations. Not all the volunteer hours have been filled for the thirteen kettle locations throughout Regina.

Proceeds raised from this year’s campaign will go to assist individuals and families in need in Regina.
The kettles will run until Dec. 24 this year. Anyone interested in volunteering can call 306-527-7950.
