RM of Kindersley: All Heavy Haul Traffic to Avoid All Afternoon Travel

May 13th Road Update

RM of Kindersley is asking all Drilling/Service Rigs and Frac crews plus services associated with these not to be travelling in the afternoon

With the warmer weather the RM of Kindersley has released restrictions and guidelines for heavy haul traffic 10T and over:

ALL DRILLING RIGS will need to be off all locations and work completed by Saturday March 17th.

ALL FRAC EQUIPMENT will need to be off all locations and work completed Sunday March 18th.

SERVICE RIGS will require a Special Circumstance Permit for any movement from the company they are working for effective March 19th

Due to the warm sun causing soft roads the RM of Kindersley is also asking all other heavy haul traffic to avoid travel during the afternoon until evening when the roads and leases firm up.

The RM of Kindersley has no set date for Road Bans, as the decision is dependant on weather and the when the Department of Highways issues bans. However, if warm weather arrives quickly the RM of Kindersley will impose road bans before the Department of Highways.

Please stay safe and slow down.
