RM of Kindersley: Service Rigs Will Require Special Permit to Move

RM of Kindersley is asking all heavy haul traffic 10T and over not to be travelling in the afternoon

With the recent snowfall and warmer temperatures the RM of Kindersley has released restrictions and guidelines for heavy haul traffic 10T and over:

SERVICE RIGS will require a Special Circumstance Permit for any movement from the company they are working for effective March 19th

ALL HEAVY HAUL is to avoid travel during the afternoon starting at noon (12:00p.m.) until roads and leases firm up in the evening.

If any situation arises in which heavy haul traffic will not be off the road by noon, the RM asks heavy haulers to please notify Pam Wake/Special Constable for RM at 1 306-460-8056.

Kindersley RM advises for locations to be prioritized and to stay on higher main grids as the warm sun causing soft conditions.

The RM of Kindersley has no set date for Road Bans, as the decision is dependant on weather and the when the Department of Highways issues bans. However, if warm weather arrives quickly the RM of Kindersley will impose road bans before the Department of Highways.
