Lloydminster-based candidate, Rosemarie Falk, a social worker and former political staffer, has won the Conservative Nomination. The by-election results came in just before 9.30 p.m. (November 11th) after a short delay. Kindersley CAO Bernie Morton was one of six candidates in the running.
Falk’s had the support of MP Arnold Viersen (Peace River – Westlock) and MP Garnett Genuis (Sherwood Park-Fort Saskatchewan).
Lloydminster MLA Colleen Young had announced she was supporting Falk’s bid earlier in the week.
