Saskatchewan Roughriders unveil ticket pricing for new Mosaic Stadium

Single game tickets will cost $32 to $98 per game

Roughriders fans are finding out how much it will cost to watch their team in the new stadium.

Season ticket holders in standard seating sections will pay from $27 to $81 per game, if they use the early bird discount. Single game tickets will cost $32 to $98 per game.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders say they will announce details through mail and email on how existing season ticket holders will be moved over to the new stadium in the coming days.

When asked about how seniority would come into play for season ticket holders, Roughriders president and CEO Craig Reynolds said that will happen in two ways.

“First, it will be the order you’re contacted. That’s not the order you will select your seats. So the number-one driver of seat location will be your current location in the stadium,” he said.

“But you will be contacted in terms of seniority. So once the entire re-seat process is done, seniority will come into play in an upgrade situation.”

Reynolds said that from his and the club’s standpoint, the fairest way to approach such a scenario is “where do you currently sit in the stadium? And we’re going to try and put you as close to that current spot as we possibly can.”

“Then we would factor in seniority in terms of when there’s additional seats — that would be considered an upgrade. We would go to our most senior season ticket holders at that time,” he explained.

The new stadium will reseat over 24,000 current season ticket holders. The transition will is expected to take up to one year to finish.
