Langley B.C. – The Saskatoon Blades bounced back into the win column Wednesday night with a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Giants. The win improves the Blades record to 6-3-1 on the year.
The Vancouver Giants were riding a four game win streak heading into the contest while the Blades were coming off a forgettable outing in Victoria, being on the losing end of a 9-3 game. Saskatoon came out strong, and appeared bound and determined to leave with two points. In the first period, Josh Paterson found a loose puck in the crease off a rebound from Cam Hausinger, but the goal was called back. It appeared the puck went off Paterson’s skate, and upon review the officials deemed it was not a good goal. But that only seemed to add fuel to the fire for the visiting Blades.
