A 69-year-old man has died after a semi trailer crash north of Swift Current, Sask. on Sunday night.
RCMP said the driver lost control of his cattle liner around 10 p.m. CST near Stewart Valley.
Rescue crews got him out of the wreckage and were taking him to meet the STARS helicopter when he died.
The crash claimed the lives of about 40 cattle in the trailer as well.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
