Smoke from growing Burns Bog fire jumps highway, forces businesses to evacuate

Smoke from a fire burning in a suburban Vancouver conservation area has jumped the highway, forcing roads to close and businesses to be evacuated.

The blaze in Burns Bog was first reported around 11:40 a.m. Sunday and gusting winds fuelled its growth throughout the afternoon, said Delta, B.C., fire chief Dan Copeland.
