Spring kicks off with a snowstorm later this week, which will also come with strong winds
Snow will start early Friday as the system presses in, with five to 10 centimetres possible in Saskatoon and locally up to 15 centimetres in some areas with winds up to 50 km/h with gusts in excess of 70 km/h possible.
It may be best to cancel any unnecessary travel plans on Friday as near zero visibility is likely along with treacherous road conditions.
