After the day-long downpour that left northern areas just above Kindersley with over 5 inches of rain, the Kindersley Stallions are scanning Berard Field in hopes of hosting the Lloydminster Twins for a league season opener this evening.
The Stallions played an exhibition against the Mariners on Sunday, and scheduled their first league game on Tuesday. But their anticipated tangle with the Border City Blue Jays on Tuesday was cancelled due to rain, and the Stallions are hoping that tonight’s game will not suffer the same fate.
Today’s forecast is clear and sunny, so tonight will be a good night to come to Berard Field and cheer Kindersley’s “Ponies” on!
