Tavia Laliberte was elected Chair of Sask Sport Inc.’s Board of Directors today at the sport federation’s annual general meeting in Regina.
Laliberte joined the board in 2014 after being nominated by the Rivers West District for Sport, Culture and Recreation. She has served on the board as the Vice Chair of the Sport Division and as a member of the Aboriginal Sport Leadership Council. Before joining Sask Sport Inc., Laliberte served on numerous volunteer committees including the North West Regional Intersectoral Committee, and she participated in the 2012 Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference.
