Tom has been in the Hospitality Business since he was 11. At a young age he became aware of how a strong work ethic can take you a long way.
He has been self-employed since 1986 and understands how positive communication can work to propel projects forward to a successful conclusion. He believes in Win-Win situations always. Has he had some losses? Of course: it’s called learning and he believes every negative outcome has a cloud with a silver lining.
He first came to Kindersley in 2009 and is one of the Largest employers in Kindersley with over 100 employees at times. He is a strong and effective leader!
He is the current President of The Chamber, The Hospitality Association, and is a Rotarian.
As Mayor he will Bridge the gap between the Municipality Government and its people. He will bring positive and transparent communication back to government while assessing all financials to ensure Kindersley has fair expenses to its residents and business community.
His Main Focuses as Mayor are:
To Bring Positive Communication back to the town of Kindersley
- Bringing council and the people of Kindersley back together
To work with other levels of governments in a positive manner
- Giving people their fair share of future opportunities
To analyze and fine tune municipal spending
- Giving the citizens of Kindersley a strong voice on how their money is spent (e.g. Water, Taxes)
To analyze the municipal Infrastructure
- Working with the town office to fine tune current programs here in Kindersley.
