WCEC ice plant is down to one compressor
Due to a processor malfunction, the West Central Events Centre (WCEC) ice plant is down to one compressor until repairs can be made. This processor also controls our ability to bypass the system and operate the plant manually.
With this limited ice plant capacity, maintaining any type of activity in the Events Centre Arena puts additional strain on the plant, so all programming and events at the facility scheduled for September 28-29 have been cancelled, effective immediately. All groups have been contacted and we will be working closely with each representative to resume programming as soon as possible.
