Public Works are still determining the exact location of a water leak at the 300 block of 6th Ave West. Currently, no water disruption is expected.

The leak was discovered when the new pavement was uplifted due to the expansion of the trapped water beneath the frost layer.  Public Works have already begun excavation of the pavement.

If there is cause for water service disruption, all affected residents will be notified by a door knocker and affected addresses will be under a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory once water service resumes.
