Kindersley, Kerrobert and Eston RCMP Weekly calls for service

Calls for service for the week ending June 3rd, 2018:

DISCLAIMER – No Information on any specific crime will be given to anybody that is not directly involved in the file.

SUI – Still Under Investigation

Criminal Code – 

  • ASSAULT x 3 – Kerrobert – 1 male charged; Kindersley – no charges laid at this time on either file
  • BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE x3 – Kindersley – Investigation revealed that no breach had taken place; Eston x2 – Investigation revealed no breach had taken place
  • FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITION OF UNDERTAKING – Kindersley – 1 male charged as a result of consuming alcohol
  • Two (2) IMPAIRED DRIVERS charged in Kindersley with one of them also charged with REFUSAL to provide Breath Samples.
  • Two (2) more reports of possible IMPAIRED DRIVERS were investigated in the RM of Kindersley and the RM of Snipe Lake with no charges laid at this time..
  • MISCHIEF – Eatonia – investigation revealed an attempted break in had occurred on a vehicle, resulting in damage to the vehicle, SUI
  • OTHER THEFT UNDER – Kindersley – call of theft from local business – 1 male charged
  • THEFT OF ELECTRICITY – Kindersley – power cord being run from a residence to the residence next door. No charged laid at this time.
  • THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE – Kindersley – call of someone trying to break into a vehicle. Investigation revealed it was the owner who had locked his keys in the vehicle therefore unfounded.

Provincial –

  • FAIL TO REMAIN AT ACCIDENT SCENE x2 – Kerrobert – SUI; Kindersley – SUI
  • FIRE PREVENTION ACT – RM of Progress – nothing suspicious
  • SPEEDING – 3 warnings issued, 7 tickets issued. One vehicle was clocked on radar doing 150 km/h which resulted in a fine of $798.00, 2 more complaints of speeders were also investigated.
  • OTHER MOVING TRAFFIC x 3 – RM of Kindersley – report of vehicle passing another vehicle in the construction zone – investigation revealed vehicle was past the construction zone, no charge laid; RM of Kindersley – complaint of semi trying to pass when unsafe. Driver of semi was located and warned as per the wishes of the complainaints. RM of Kindersley – complaint of semi forcing oncoming traffic into the ditch – SUI; RM of Kindersley – call of vehicle passing when unsafe – SUI
  • OTHER NON-MOVING TRAFFIC – 1 warning issued, 1 ticket issued
  • SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEHICLE x 6 – Kindersley – male sitting on bicycle between 2 business buildings – male located – nothing criminal in nature; RM of Kindersley – call of male laying in the ditch of the highway. Male located resting before trying to get a ride – nothing criminal in nature; Kindersley – call of female in a vehicle. Appeared to be sleeping. Female located – nothing criminal in nature; RM of Kindersley – call of suspicious vehicle parked in a field. Investigation revealed vehicle belonged to the farmer. Kindersley – call of a van with 3 passengers blocking the door to a business – males were located and were using the wi-fi from that business; RM of Prairiedale – quad in the ditch – as members were investigating it, an oilfield truck stopped to say it fell off their truck, and it was too muddy to pick up at the time;
