The Source for Sports Pee Wee Falcons were on the road this weekend (Dec. 9-10) with their first game in Dinsmore to take on the Dynamos at their annual sports day.
The Falcons got off to a 2 goal lead with Josh Yaremovich and Seth Klein putting one in, but before the end of the first the Dynamos answered back with one of their own. The second period saw more scoring from the Falcons who got three more including a goal and an assist from Rhett Dimitroff. Third period had Dimitroff net another to cap off his four point night and the Dynamos snuck in two more for a final score of 6-4 Falcons.
The Falcons headed to Eston on Sunday (Dec 10) for a rematch of their early season loss to the Ramblers, they knew it would be a tough game and they were right. Hard checking and solid goaltending had the game scoreless after the first period, and things were tight again in the second with Eston scoring first then the Falcons Pryce Thiessen scoring to tie it up going into the 2nd intermission. Eston got two more in the third and Thiessen got one back but the Falcons ran out of time in what was an exciting finish, Ramblers win 3-2.
