Thank-you to those who volunteered and helped with the success of our BBQ for Goose Festival on September 22 as well as everyone who came out and supported us by purchasing food or baking items. All proceeds from the BBQ and bake sale will benefit the WCA Client Trip Fund. A special thank you to the Kindersley and District Co-op for the use of the BBQ and to Rod Macdiarmid for helping us get it lit!
WCA’s SARCAN depot will be celebrating 10 years of service in their downtown location on October 14th. SARCAN has been serving the community for 28 years and have made a huge contribution to Kindersley by diverting from our landfill and recycling beverage containers, electronics and paint for almost three decades. We invite everyone to come down to the depot and join in on the festivities, and enter to win a fabulous door prize. There will also be handmade crafts and baking for sale, in support of a new accessible facility for persons experiencing a disability within the community.
