Some areas received 250 millimetres of rain, more than 100 homes damaged
Parts of West Virginia have been left devastated by historic rainfall and flooding, which is now blamed for the deaths of 26 people.
Rescue efforts continued on Saturday to rescue hundreds of people stranded by the floodwaters.
