Wind warning has ended. The highest wind speed was clocked at 74 km/hr. Wind gusts are expected to diminish to 20 km/hr this afternoon.

Wind warning in effect for: R.M. of Kindersley including Kindersley Brock and Flaxcombe, R.M. of Chesterfield including Eatonia and Mantario, R.M. of Oakdale including Coleville, R.M. of Progress including Kerrobert and Luseland, R.M. of Snipe Lake including Eston and Plato etc.
Strong winds with potential of causing damage are expected and are already occurring. Wind gusting up to 90 km/hr are forecasted for today.
Due to a low pressure system, northwest winds of 60 gusting to 90 km/h are in the forecast to develop early this morning in western sections and reach the Manitoba border by early afternoon.
The high winds my cause damage to buildings, such as windows or roof shingles. Loose objects can be blown by wind and cause injury or damage. Be advised to adjust your driving with road conditions.

Environment Canada has issued a weather alert as wind gusts are forecasted to exceed 80 km/hr on Tuesday.
Due to a low pressure system that will arrive in Saskatchewan on Tuesday, Southeast winds of 30 gusting to 50 km/hr are expected to develop over souther Saskatchewan this evening. Northwest winds of 50 gusting to 80 km/h are in the forecast for Tuesday.
Environment Canada warns there is the potential for wind gusts to exceed 90 km/h, and wind warnings may be added later. Significant visibility reduction is expected along the Yellowhead highway due to the recent snowfall. Yellowhead area also has a risk of freezing rain or ice pellets.
Above zero temperatures are expected for southern portions of the province by Tuesday morning, the late afternoon will see temperatures falling below zero again.
