A wintery mix will arrive in southwestern Saskatchewan tonight and into early Friday morning.
Snow with possible freezing rain is expected to push into the Kindersley and Assiniboia regions tonight, ending Friday morning. Snowfall could reach levels of 10cm. Gusty winds will cause low visibility with snow and blowing snow. The weather system will head eastward on Friday, snow and blowing snow along with poor visibility is expected for most of Friday.
Environment Canada advises all travellers that this weather system will affect a good portion of the Canadian Prairies and American Prairies with a wide variety of winter weather today, and continuing on Friday and Saturday.
Heavy snow will cause reduced visibility, highways, walkways, and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Be advised to continue to watch for weather updates.
