There has been so much media coverage and residual conversation regarding the recent youth suicides in our northern communities. Indeed this is a state of emergency when we are losing our children in such a devastating manner.
I honestly believe that meditation has the power to change lives. I can speak from experience when I say that it completely transformed my life. Meditation allows us the opportunity to step aside from the constant distracting chatter in our minds and move towards the peaceful compassionate center of our Beings. Our truest self.
I am well aware that this devastating situation will not be solved simply by an article offering advice, but perhaps this article can provide strength or comfort to someone reading. Pass on to another person and so on and so on.
As I’ve written before, the love revolution continues.
Please read and share article with anyone who you think could benefit from the beauty and simplicity of the following words.
In the interest of replying to concerns of the high rate of youth suicide in our Canadian northern communities – I would like to offer the following excerpt from the book: Meditations to Heal your Life, by Louise L Hay.
I relax, and know that life supports me at all times.
I am neither lonely nor lost nor abandoned in the universe. All of life supports me every moment of the day and night. Everything I need for a fulfilling life is already provided for me. There is enough breath to last me for as long as I shall live. The earth is supplied with an abundance of food. There are millions of people to interact with. I am supported in every possible way. Every thought I think is mirrored for me in my experiences. Life always says yes to me. All I need to do is accept this abundance and support with joy, pleasure, and gratitude. I now release from within my consciousness any and all patterns or beliefs that would deny me my good.
I am loved and supported by life itself.
I am supported by life.
Affirm loudly to yourself in times of despair, sadness, loneliness or grief:
I live in the totality of possibilities. There is always another way. I am safe.
With Love & Light…. Siobhan O’Sullivan
