Ingredients:
1 cup (250 mL) orange juice
3 to 4 oz (85 to 113 g) avocado slices
1 banana
1 scoop of fermented, unflavoured,
unsweetened protein powder
1 Tbsp (15 mL) chia seeds
Directions:
- In high-speed blender, combine juice, avocado, banana, and protein powder. Whirl until smooth and creamy. Add some water if you wish. Sprinkle with chia seeds. Sip and enjoy.
TIPS:
- If you find this smoothie a bit rich or heavy, sip some, then refrigerate the rest for later. When ready for more, give it a great shake and sip away.
- Mix up the banana with mango or pineapple or another favourite fruit. Add a good quality unflavoured protein powder, available under various labels.
